For the last 3.5 years I’ve been working as a web developer over at ZillaMedia. In my time there I have worked on some awesome projects including building Snippi, working on PremiumPixels and building WordPress themes for ThemeZilla. However by far the biggest and most interesting project that I’ve worked on for the last 2 years is Dunked. Building a SAAS app from scratch has been a huge learning experience and I will always have fond memories of working with Orman and Mark.
Despite the awesome time I’ve had working at ZillaMedia the time has come for a change. Mainly due to personal circumstances I’ve decided to take the plunge and find a new job. So I’m pleased to be able to announce that, as of May, I’ll be working for Brad over at DeliciousBrains.
I’ve been throughly impressed as I’ve watched Brad grow DeliciousBrains over the last few years, knowing how hard it can be to grow a WordPress plugin company. I’m excited to be able to start using my WordPress knowledge and skills again and am looking forward to the experience of working in a bigger team.
With this announcement comes some more exciting news.
I’ll be attending WordCamp Miami at the end of May. This will be a week of firsts for me: it will be my first WordCamp, the first time I meet the DeliciousBrains team and the first time I visit the USA. As you can imagine I’m pretty excited about this and look forward to meeting any other WCMIA attendees in a months time.
