I'm delighted to be able to announce that on the 6th of August 2019, at exactly 8 pm, Grace Catherine Pellegrom came into the world weighing exactly 7lbs 🎉

To say we're thrilled is an understatement. I mean just look at her! I know I'm totally biased but isn't she just the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?!

She's almost three weeks old now and everything seems to be going well. She's eating better than Joshua ever did at this age, sleeping pretty well (wakes for ~1 feed during the night) and is generally a very settled baby. Fiona is well too and recovered quickly from the relatively straightforward labour. Even Joshua seems to have taken pretty well to being a big brother and is either very caring or content to just ignore her.

Fiona and I are so thankful to God for his many blessings to us throughout our lives but none of them come close to the joy and wonder of witnessing the miracle of new life and becoming parents (for a second time). As I said the last time, what an awesome privilege and responsibility!
